"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." - Hosea 4:6                                         Bringing Power Back to the Believer!                                         "Be doers of the Word, and not hearers only." - James 1:22                                        "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you...," Acts 1:8
Are you looking for more but can’t figure out what it is? Do you just know somewhere inside of you that there has to be more to life in Christ than what you’ve been presented? If so, then you have come to the right place! Like you, I felt as if something must be missing, that there had to be more to this Christian life than what I had been taught. Although, I had attended church most of my life, I still hadn’t figured out what the missing link was. What I didn’t realize was that, though I had attended church, I had learned very little about the Word of God, life in Christ, and what it truly meant to be a son or daughter of God. I didn’t know that I could live victoriously on Earth nor did I know that I, not only could but had the authority to, battle the enemy, called Satan, and do it successfully.

What most people don’t realize is that we have a real enemy called Satan who wants us defeated, joyless, and lost. He hates God so he wants to take all of God’s creation to hell with him. John 10:10, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”. This scripture parallels Satan’s mission to Jesus’ mission. The first half of that scripture tells us that Satan, the thief, only comes to steal, kill, and destroy – you and me and our families- but that Jesus (“I” in this verse) has come that we may have life. Not just life but life more abundantly! The word abundantly here means overflowing, more than enough, too much. Can you use abundant life? I know I can.

What Spirit Life School of Ministry strives to do is to instruct each student in, 1) what the Word of God says and 2) how to apply it to your everyday life. We aren’t interested in knowledge for knowledge’s sake but in the daily application of it so that we can, each one, have that abundant life Jesus came to bring us.
